Today's field trips postponed to next Tuesday, Oct. 25!
Due to the rain, today's Hidden Creek Farms pumpkin patch field trips have been rescheduled to next Tuesday, Oct. 25, 9:30 a.m. for the morning classes and 1 p.m for the afternoon classes. We will have regular classes at school today.
Here is the content of the parent letter sent out this week:
Dear Spark parents,
It is with great excitement and much prayer that we are preparing for a new year of Spark Preschool – classes start September 6!
We are raring to go, with staff in place, classes full or filling, facilities prepared -- waiting for the best part, your precious children to arrive.
So … this is the all-important summer parent letter. Your student will receive a personal note from his/her teacher in August; this one has all the details for Mom and Dad.
Wednesday, Aug. 31 :
Orientation for parents, 7 p.m. This event is for parents or caregivers only, where we will share important information about Spark and go over vital details in the Spark parent handbook, introduce the staff, answer questions, etc. The parent handbook is posted on our website (www.sparkpreschool.com). We will have a few paper copies on hand but request you read it online (or print it out for your use.) This saves time and money and trees and is a great way to have it at your fingertips if you have a question. The state requires that parents read it and that we have a signature on file confirming that.
Only one parent need attend this mandatory orientation. We respectfully ask that no Spark students, or siblings of students (except for nursing babies) attend the parent orientation, so that we can get through the information efficiently and comprehensively out of respect for your time as busy parents.
Thursday, Sept. 1:
Meet the Teachers sessions. These will be one-hour sessions, scheduled in the morning or afternoon depending on your child’s specific class, for parents/caregivers and students. Your student will meet his/her teacher, play in the Arena and/or Central Park, and get a brief taste of how fun and interesting the preschool year will be. These are drop-in sessions; you and your child can drop in any time during his/her class time as indicated below.
The schedule for Meet the Teacher sessions on Sept. 1:
T/Th 3s class 10:00-11:00 a.m. A.M. 5s class 10:00-11:00 a.m. P.M. 4s classes12:30-1:30 p.m.
P.M. 5s classes 12:30-1:30 p.m
2s students will come with a parent from 9:15-10:15 a.m. on their first day of class (F class on Sept. 9, M class on Sept. 12, T class on Sept. 13).
Required enrollment and medical forms can be found under the “Forms” tab on our website (www.sparkpreschool.com). Each family must submit the two forms for each student they have attending Spark. We must have the enrollment form fully completed (every blank filled in) by the first day of preschool, and the medical form by Sept. 30. If you are a current family (your child attended last year), you will be notified when your child’s medical form is expiring and a new one is required. Only families whose children have allergy or medical issues that require a rescue inhaler or Epi-pen need to complete the Care Plan and Medication forms also found under the Forms tab.
All forms may be turned in at the Parent Orientation.
Tuition payments are due on the 15th of the month, beginning August 15. (New families who have already paid first-month’s tuition will begin payments Sept. 15). If you are a recently enrolled new family that has not already paid your first month’s tuition, it is due August 15.
2s class (1 day) -- $75/month
3s class (2 day) -- $125/month
3s and 4s class (3 day) -- $185/month
5s class (4 day) -- $240/month
For multiple students’ tuition, please deduct 10% from the youngest child’s tuition.

Check mailed to the preschool office.
Paypal via the Spark Preschool website. Please note there is a fee added by Paypal for this service.
Our mailing address is 471 E. College Ave., Westerville, OH 43081. Please do not attempt to drop off a payment without calling ahead – we will not be in the office on a routine basis until the end of August and we don’t want you to waste a trip.
If you intend to pay the entire year’s tuition in a lump sum, you will receive a 5% discount. To compute this amount, multiply your child's monthly tuition x 9, then subtract 5%. This lump sum must be received by Sept. 1.Please note you cannot pay this amount via Paypal.
